Summer In Europe

I cannot believe it is almost July! I'm almost 4 months through my 6-month assignment, and will be heading back to the United States in early September. I am really looking forward to checking a few more cities off my bucket list in July and August, but I cannot wait to get back to my husband and pup in two months!

From what my husband said, it basically jumped from winter to summer in Indiana. While it has been in the 90s at home, the weather in Wiesbaden has been a bit more mild. We've had our days in the 80s/90s, but for the most part, when I get home from work in the evening, it's a pleasant 75 degrees. Last week even dipped down into the 60s, which was kind of nice to open the windows and enjoy some of the coolness. It's supposed to warm up again this weekend, so I'm back to packing up shorts and easy tanks (like this cute Old Navy style!). Although the backdrop of these pictures does look a bit European, I snapped these with Anna when I was back in Indianapolis at the end of May!
This weekend, I'm headed to Budapest with my friend from grad school, Aamna. She is on a 6-month assignment, living in Bruseels, with her company! It's so nice to have a friendly face to travel with. Next week, a few of my girlfriends are coming over from the US and we are taking some time to do some champagne tasting in Reims, France. I CANNOT wait for a few days off of work, sipping bubbly in the French countryside. I'm sorry, that sounds very braggy, but if I can't take advantage of living in Europe for the summer now, then when can I?! More to come!
