Warm & Cozy

Well. It warmed up for a minute. One minute. Then it went back to freezing. But at least we have had some sun sprinkled in there. The cold isn't what really gets to me in the winter, it's the dark and the grey. My mom went down to South Carolina right after Christmas and said she was sad to miss a few of those freezing, sunny days. She said she likes the frigid cold and sun for a few days; said it must be the Norwegian in her!

This day was one of those cold (not frigid) but sunny days. It was perfect for this leopard jacket and my 5050 boots. Every year, I say I'm going to buy a leopard jacket and every year I don't. So when I saw this one on Forever 21 (my husband says I'm too old to shop there) before Thanksgiving for under $50, I snagged it. And I LOVE it (sorry, husband). Unfortunately, it's sold out but I linked some similar styles and other faux fur coats below.

If you've been following along with my blog, you'll remember that I love when the seasons change. Although on a day like today it would be nice to live in sunny South Florida, I will never live in a place that doesn't get to experience the seasons (even winter). I love the way a season change has the power to change more than just wardrobe, but also perspective. Here's looking forward to spring.
