Pretty in Patchwork

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I spent the weekend getting settled in Charleston, SC and prepared myself for my first day of work. I am so excited to be spending a year in this lovely city! Shopping is great, food is great, and the people are great. Stay tuned for a post with all of my favorite spots (so far). I definitely recommend heading south for a little palmetto paradise!

My mom and I hit King Street to check out some of the Labor Day sales on Friday. And while this little number happened to be full price, it was too cute to pass up. I tried it on with sandals, booties, and cowgirl boots - it all worked. It's such an easy, versatile dress and I love the detail in the different fabrics and trims. It was a little toasty wearing it in the 90+ degree heat (notice the hair that started off perfectly waved and very quickly frizz-ified in the humidity) but I know I will be wearing it all fall when the temp drops a bit. Anthro has so many fun dresses right now, I may just have to head back downtown for a little "I-have-to-work-full-time-again-so-I-deserve-a-treat" shopping. Ya dig?

    1. Thanks so much Carly! It has definitely been a learning process! If you're not comfortable with blogger/wordpress, definitely check out some other blogs you like, see who did the design (usually in the footer), and reach out to some people! I couldn't be happier with my new page. Feel free to email me and we can chat more! :)
      I hope all is well!

    2. Thanks! I'm on Blogger and kind of teaching myself as I go, and may end up having someone do the design down the line. I'll definitely reach out if I have more questions! :)
